USD890 million restructure and listing/flotation of TEN Network Holdings, including originating, structuring and negotiating proposal, obtaining ASX
and FIRB approvals of "see through share" structure, AUD375 million public issue and acquisition of additional shares in TEN Group.
News Corporation - USD1,575 million joint venture with and investment by MCI Communications in News Corporation.
Litigation - Successfully acting for Seven West Media against the Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police in the quashing of five search warrants and four assistance orders, and the return of documents wrongly seized by the AFP pursuant to those invalid warrants, and suing the AFP in tort (for trespass based on the invalidity of those warrants).
Presently acting for Mr King (former CEO of Leighton Holdings) suing the publishers of several Fairfax newspapers in high-profile proceedings for defamation.
